History:

The former winter sports club of Brixlegg-Rattenberg built a large ski jumping hill on the slope of Stadtberg at Rattenberg in 1936-37. The inaugural competition was held on February 7, 1937, won by army athlete Peter Jenewein. In the early 1950s, the ski jump, which was located at the eastern gate of today's tunnel, was reconstructed as a 40-meter hill by SV Rattenberg and had been in use again for some time.
