History:

Ski jumping activities at St. Aegyd am Neuwalde already started before World War II. In 1983-84 a ski jumping center with three natural hills was constructed on the slopes of 971 meter high Klaushofer mountain. The K73 had been a regular host of Europa-Cup competition between 1984 and 1993 and also of the Austrian Championships in 1989. After that it was used less and in 2001 the FIS homologation of the ski jump expired. Meanwhile Klaushofer Schanzen have been deconstructed and are completely over-grown.
