History:

The ski jump in Ben Lomond, a mountain and national park in Tasmania, was built before World War II, probably 1935-36. During war there wasn't any competition, the last event before World War II was in 1939 and the first after that was in 1946. It hosted Tasmanian Ski Jumping Championships and Northern Tasmanian Ski Jumping Championships many times. In August 1949 there were the Australian Ski Jumping Championships.
