History:

The ski jump on Harris Hill Brattleboro was already opened by Brattleboro Outing Club in 1922 and since then has been hosted an annual large ski jumping competition.
Since the jump did no longer confirm recent standards, in 2004 an initiative was started and 300,000 US$ were collected in order to modernized the K90 ski jumping hill. Due to the construction works the 85th Fred Harris Memorial jubilee competition had to be cancelled in 2008, but then in February 2009 the new, all in all US$ 575,000 expensive Harris Hill HS 98 could be inaugurated with a new hill record and 8,300 spectators.
