History:

Already in 1930’s Gogebic Range Ski Club at Ironwood had the idea to construct the world’s largest ski jumping hill. But first in 1935 at Wolverine Hill a 60 and 40 meter wooden double jumping hill was built up. This was used until the construction of Copper Peak ski flying hill in 1969. Six years later the whole ski jumping facility was modernized for young jumpers again. Today the complete facility is no more existing.
