History:

Already in 1940’s there were the first ski jumping hills at Ľubochňa, in 1946 Ján Smrekovský jumped 17 m on Bašte ski jump, two years later even 20 meters were jumped there. In 1949 Briestočnej-K30 hill was constructed and distances of 35 could be realized there. In 1952 a 50 meter jump was built up by Ján Smrekovský, but it was destructed only short time later. Then in 1972 reconstruction of Briestočnej began and a K23 and K10 hill were built. Two unfortunately all of these hills are dilapidated and no more in use.
