History:

In 1990 a ski jumping facility with four plastic covered ski jumping hills K120, K90, K60 and K35 was constructed at Muju Resort skiing area and since Korean ski jumper’s training centre has been established there. In 1997 the winter universiade was hosted at Muju-Chonju and ski jumping competitions were held on the hills at Muju Resort, whereby Japan’s Yoshiharu Ikeda jumped hill record on both ski jumps. A summer grand prix competition was of specialized jumpers was hosted on K120 in 2000, too.
