In 1968 the K30 and K15 ski jumps below the tower of Wakkanai Park were constructed. From time to time local competitions were hosted there, but already in 1980’s the ski jumps were finally demolished.
That was the most northern ski jumping facility of Japan, situated in the very north of Hokkaido and jumpers could even see Sakhalin in Russia.
