History:

After the closure of Rosenbergschanze a new 25 m youth jumping hill was build in Cursdorf at Königstal, which was covered with plastic mattings in early 1960’s. In 1970 an additional small K12 ski jump was build and these two hills then had been exisiting until early 1990’s. Most successful sportsman of the local ski club was Ronny Hornschuh, who gained two bronze medals at Junior World Championships team competition in 1992 and 1993 and belonged to the larger circle of the German national team in mid 1990’s. Other successful ski jumpers were Mario Beyer, Andreas Schaller, Falko Götz, Andre Matz and Andre Jäger.
