Rousselands
History:
The first ski jumping competition at Les Rousses in
High-Jura, at which distances around 20 meters were jumped, took place already
in 1909. Over 20th century the “Skieurs Rousselands” constructed numerous jumps
in the surrounding area.
The ski jump at “Place de L’Omnibus” directly inside
the town was set up shortly before World War II and is still in use today.
