History:

Paimio’s first large hill ski jump was built in 1950’s and in 1963 the Finnish Championships took place there.
After the hill had become old-fashioned, in was removed in 1997 and a brand-new plastic covered K58 hill with a K29 beside it were built. In 1999 both Varasvuoren hills were completed and ready for jumping. Especially for young jumpers training in 2003 another 10-meter-hill was constructed.
Because of the situation in the south of Finland near Turku, the 25 active jumpers have to practise on plastic mattings most time.
