History:

In 1959 the first 44 meter ski jumping hill “Vanhamäki“ was constructed. It had been in use for jumping until 1980’s, before the wooden hill was dismantled in ‘88.
Today the ski jumpers of Karijoen Tappara are practising on “Tappara” ski jumping facility. There are three ski jumping hills with K37, K17 and K7.
