After Gregor Schlierenzauer already equalizing the 7 year old record
distance of 140 meters by Sven Hannawald in the first
round of yesterday’s World Cup on Wielka Krokiew HS 134 at Zakopane, Simon
Ammann even improved the official hill record by half
a meter on 140.5 meters.

Ollympic HS 138 Lysgårdsbakken
ski jump at Lillehammer Swiss Simon Ammann set up a new hill record of 146 meters. Gregor Schlierenzauer even jumped
150.5 meters, but fell.
