History:

In summer 1957 the sports club of the Technical University Liberec constructed its ski jumping hill (K30). It is near the university in Kristianov, a part of the city. Later additionally a smaller ski jump (K20) was built and both were covered with plastic mattings. In the 70’s and 80’s a famous pupils tournament was made on the jumps. Today training and competitions take place mostly in summer.

Liberec was founded in 13th century by German colonialists. The historic city center is very interesting, just as the castle in renaissance-style and the town hall in flamish style.
