At Amras, a city district of Innsbruck, a new skiing club was founded in 1965 and soon the education of young ski jumpers was started. The brothers Heinz and Horst Moser even managed to come into the Austrian national team coached by Bubi Bradl in 1957. In 1960 the construction of an own junior ski jumping hill at Mühltale was begun, but only on 1965-02-14 the inauguration took place and the ski jump was named after Heinz Moser, who departed in 1962. Already in 1971 the “Gedächtnis-Schanze” was torn down, which meant the end of the ski jumping era at Amras.
