History:

Already 1933 the first competitions took place at Waldzell. In 1949 Wallnerschanze was built up and later run together by the ski clubs of Waldzell and Ried. After it was demolished by a storm in 1967, in 1970 the reconstruction of the ski jump followed. But already in 1983 this ski jumping hill was finally removed. Today there are plans of another new-construction of the hill.
Despite, Schratteneckschanze is still in use and this is the ski jumping hill on which World Cup winner Andreas Goldberger lerned how to jump.
