Already in March 1908 Norwegian immigrants organized the Fram Ski Club and first ski jumping tournaments in Cameron.
These ski jumping activities in Cameron continued until the 1950s, but then the sport fell into a deep sleep.
However, in 2016 Cameron Ski Jumping Club was founded and built a small ski jump on the grounds of Cameron Elementary School. Since then a growing number of children from Cameron has come in contact with ski jumping and even small competitions are organized in cooperation with Flying Eagles SC from Eau Claire.
