History:

The ski jumping hill at Fargo, North Dakota, was built in Januar 1935 at the banks of Red River by Dovre Ski Club. For this purpose, the existing ski jump at Moorhead was deconstructed and the lumber was re-used. The structure next to former Cass County Hospital at what is now Trollwood Park was 140 feet (over 42 meters) tall and cost 7,000 Dollars. It was supposed to host also national-level competitions, but the ski club had financial troubles. Thus, already in 1942 the mighty tower structure was dismantled.
