History:

The ski jumping hill at Huvudberget in Skellefteå was inaugurated in March 1942. In 1946 and 1957 the Swedish Championships were held there. Furthermore, in 1956 it was decided to even build a large hill, which should allow jumps over 90 meters. However, the plan had to be abandoned due to financial reasons and instead Huvudberget ski jump had to be deconstructed in 1961 since it was dilapidated.
