History:

The Mellanbacken ski jumping center in Särna was built in 1994. In 2003, the Swedish Ski Jumping Championships even took place on the K65. In the meantime, however, the ski jumps have not been used for a long time and are dilapidated. The tower of the K65 has been closed and is due to be demolished in 2023. The inrun of the K35 hill even collapsed in January 2023.
