History:

The ski jumping hill at Hamrinsberget in Umeå was constructed ahead of the Swedish Championships in Nordic Skiing in 1931. Winner of the ski jumping competition attended by around 3,000 spectators was Sven Eriksson with a record distance of 34.5 meters. The hill had been used until 1950's, but then the wooden inrun tower collapsed and was dismantled. Instead, a small junior hill was built and had been used for a few years by IFK Umeå.
