Already six times (1924, ’39, ’53, ’69, ’81, 2001) the Swedish Ski Championships took place at Filipstad, where up to 18,000 spectators came to Hastaberget. The first ski jump in 1904 was very primitive, but later more modern and better hills were constructed. In 1969 the winning distance of Kurt Elimä from Kiruna was at 63.5 m.
Now the jumps are not in use anymore, but there are rumours about a recommissioning.
