The ski jump at Källviken was constructed for Nordic Ski WSC at Falun in 1954. Word Champion became Finland’s Matti Pietikäinen with a longest jump of 78 meters. The very last large competition on Källviksbacken were the Swedish Ski Games in 1969, but then it was removed in the beginning 1970’s, because the area was needed for building an alpine skiing facility in the area where the jump stood. Instead for WSC 1974 a new ski jumping facility at Lugnet was built up.
