History:
At Sollentuna, a northern suburb of Sweden’s capital Stockholm, there have been the Sollenkollen ski jumps at Väsjöbacken since 1970. In 2007, they were equipped with new plastic mattings by Sollentuna BHK. The club started renovating Fiskartorpet ski jumps at Stockholm in 2005, too.
In 2018-2019 another major modernization of the plastic covered Sollenkollen ski jumping facility took place: New K10 and K5 hills were built, the K33 enlarged to K36 and also the mattings of K21 renewed, and finally the old K12 and K3 hills removed. As a project, the construction of a new K60 hill is currently planned.
