History:

The very first ski jumping hill at Štrbské Pleso was built on the initiative of Karol Móry in 1918 on the slope of Kláta mountain. The first competition on the hill was held in 1920, and the competitors finished their jump on the frozen surface of the Nové Štrbské Pleso lake. From 1926 on, ski jumping moved to the new Jarolímek hill.
