History:

At Tatranská Lomnica, a part of Vysoké Tatry, situated on 850 m altitude in 1965 the Jamy K67 was constructed. In 1970 the Jamy ski jumping facility with K45 and K28 was opened, in the same winter the Nordic WSC took place 18 km west at Štrbské Pleso. In 1989 a modernization of the hill profiles followed and all three hills were covered with plastic mattings.
The three Jamy hills with plastic covering were hit by a serious hurricane in 2004, which let trees of the surrounding forest fall onto the hills. In May 2005 ski jumpers of the area started to remove the trees and make the facility ready for ski jumping, but the K67 still has a big hole in the inrun and can no more be taken for ski jumping.
In October 2008 the two larger hills were demolished without prior knowledge of the ski club (photos).
