History:

On 1933-01-29 Ski Klub Banská Bystrica celebrated the inauguration of a 60 meter ski jump planned by Ladislav Reiss at Srnková honouring General M. R. Štefánik. In 1935 world record holder Reidar Andersen set up a new hill record of 69.5 m, which was only improved with half a meter 7 years later by Štefan Slivka.
