History:

Commissioned by the Swiss ski association Swiss Ski, the architectural office Hummburkart Architekten designed a mobile wooden ski jump in 2004 in cooperation with Lauber Ingenieure AG. The construction was carried out by the carpentry BEDA Holzbau in Egg near Einsiedeln. The ski jump allowed jumps of 10 meters and was used for advertising purposes. It was first open to the public from April 23 to May 2, 2004, at the BEA Expo in Bern. Then it stood at the SKIJUMP Festival at the Brüel school in Einsiedeln from May 11th to 15th, 2004, where Simon Ammann and Andreas Küttel were also present. In the same year, the ski jump was also set up at the trade fair in Wald to advertise the construction of a new hill in the regional ski jumping center Zürcher Oberland in Gibswil, which was realized in 2006.
