History:

Le Brassus with „La Chirurgienne“ ski jump was one of the first ski jumping centres of Switzerland.
Already in 1924 René Morard jumped 69 m, in 1930 “La Chirurgienne” was built up. Later the jump was enlarged several times and many international competitions took place. Since 1997 there hasn’t been any tournament, because the jump did no more fulfil the FIS regulations, then in 2002 the last rests of the ski jump were removed.
But ski jumping has still stayed with SC Le Brassus on both junior hills and larger competitions are hosted on the ski jump in Chaux-Neuve in France, which is not far from Le Brassus.
