History:
The first ski jumping competition at Selo pri Vodicah was hosted by SD Strahovica on a 40 meter jumping hill in 1973 and there was even a small plastic covered hill. But then ski jumping activities at Selo calmed down slowly.
In 1996 the use of the ski jumping hill has started again and since the “Memorial Pavleta Merčun” competition has been hosted in cold and snowy winters. In 2010 even ex-champion Primož Peterka participated in senior’s competition.
