History:

Already before World War II there was a small 15 meter ski jumping hill at the borders of Hrušica village near Jesenice. Afterwards sports club "TVD Partizan Železničar Hrušica" was founded and a ski jumping facility was built in 1950. The K50 and K25 were constructed by hand after plans from Stanko Bloudek on the land of "Pri Kureju" farm. The inauguration in 1951 was celebrated and later even night competitions were held. The farm and ski jumps had to be removed for the construction of Karawanks tunnel in 1989.
