History:

On February 5, 1933, a new ski jumping hill was inaugurated in Petriček, a village district of Celje. The hill was named after the Slovenian mountaineer Dr Julius Kugy. In 1935 even a night event was hosted there.
After World War II, the ski jumping facility was revived, including even two plastic covered junior hills. However, these hills have been out of operation since 1990's. Though the local ski club NSK Toper Celje does not have its own ski jumping hills, it is still actively supporting junior ski jumpers and trying to reactivate the ski jumping facility at Petriček.
