At Račeva next to Žiri there is a ski jumping facility with now five ski jumping hills from K60 to K8. Additionally there was a K73 in the past which does not exist anymore. In 2011 the plastic covering of all jumps could be completed and the HS 66 summer hill was inaugurated with a FIS Ladies Cup in September.
In January 2010 Žiri was host of the ski jumping competitions of World Winter Masters Games 2010 at Bled, so to say the Olympic Winter Games for senior sportsmen.
