In 1982, the "Ski jumping hill of friendship" (Tramplin Druzhba) was inaugurated in Svetogorsk, a small town located directly at the Finnish border, around 20 km north of Wyborg.
The K60 was constructed with the help of Finnish ski jumpers and was a copy of the hill in Lahti.
Over the years even training camps of the USSR national team and national championships were held there.
In 2006, the inrun tower was destroyed by a fire. Furthermore, there was also a wooden K20 hill, which was probably already constructed in 1978.
Though there were professional plans to rebuild the ski jumping center in 2013, they were never realized due to funding issues.
