History:

In 1975 the regional press announced the end of the ski jump in Wisła-Malinka. As it was written, the decision to demolish this hill was then "irrevocable". The reason was that a dam was planned to be built at the foot of the ski jumping hill. Instead, a completely new sports complex was to be built in Wisła, which would include two jumps with norm points of 90 and 70 meters. The designer of the facility was the renowned modernist architect Jurand Jarecki, who had been an active ski jumper in his youth. The new ski jumps were to be located "at the junction of the roads to Wisła-Malinka and Wisła-Czarny (...) near the Tourist House". However, the plans were never realized: neither a dam nor new jumping hills were built, and the facility in Wisła-Malinka continued its history, becoming the arena of the World Cup competition after many years.
