History:

The jumping hill on Galicowa Grapa in Poronin has been closed down in the 80’s. Despite this fact its condition is still relatively good. Although wooden planks have rotten and partially collapsed, the steel construction is still standing tough.
Interesting fact: In the time, when Poland was controlled by the Soviet Union (until 1989), the little town Poronin close to Zakopane was celebrated as a place where Lenin had spent a certain amount of time. It is unknown, whether Lenin has jumped himself ...
