The ski jump at Piątkowa (a village, which was partially integrated into Nowy Sącz in 1977) was established in 1949 and allowed jumping over a distance of 40 meters. In the years 1959-60 the facility was rebuilt by the club LZS "Jedność" and was used later for several seasons. In the 1980s, an attempt was made to resurrect ski jumping in this place - a new inrun tower was built, but the construction was never finished and the tower was finally demolished.
