History:
In 1940 Germany’s ski jumper Ernst Beckerlee crashed deadly while jumping on 1932 built “Skocznia w Lesie Oliwskim” (short Oliwa) at Dolina Radości. Record holder there was someone named Kołtun from Zakopane with 39 meters.

Übersetzungsunsinn
„Skocznia w Lesie Oliwskim“ ist natürlich für 1932 Unsinn. Da muss wohl in einer polnischen Fundstelle eine Übersetzung gefunden worden, die man sich nicht traute wieder richtig rückzuübersetzen. Anzunehmen ist daher "Sprungschanze im Olivaer Wald". Zu sehen ist das auch daran, dass im Kurztext für Oliva der polnische Name Oliwa steht. Dolina Radośc = Freudenthal
