History:
Wzgórza Piastowskie (eng. Piast Hills, ger. Piasten-Höhe) are popular recreational destination located in south-western part of Zielona Góra (eng. Green Hill, ger. Grünberg in Schlesien). During 1920s Park Ludowy (eng. People's Park, ger. Stadtvorwerk Anlagen) was created there. It contained natural toboggans runs, viewpoints and other places needed to relax with nature. During 1930s at one of the highest points in city (201 m.a.s.l.) - Blücherberg hill small ski jump were built. Local skiing amateurs were gaining speed at natural slope and then jumped from widen artifical take off.
There are no data about use of this facility after II World War so it suggest that ski jump at Blücherberg was destroyed during 1940s. Nowadays nothing reminds about ski jumping past and whole hill was taken over by vegetation.
