History:

A small amateur ski jump was built in Darnawa in 2010 by a group of just a few teenagers. The ski jump with its wooden takeoff was built at a hill located near their village, at which, as local legend says, their ancestors had been trying to ski jump in the past. The ski jumping hill was used until 2014 and allowed to jump up to 10 meters. Some amateur contests were organized here and the young amateur ski jumpers were a sensation in local press.
