History:

The history of the ski jump near the water intake in Wilcza Poręba (before WWII Wolfshau within Germany) dates back to pre-war times. After the war and the inclusion of these areas into the Polish borders, the inrun of the ski jump was rebuilt with wooden beams arranged crosswise on the hillside. According to Zbigniew Nakielski's memoirs, children from the local orphanage as well as coaches and athletes Roman Molenda, Izydor Lachtara, Jan Framiński, Stanisław Mroziński, and others participated in the preparation of the hill. The facility was open at least until the 1970s. In 1973 it was renovated, and the competitors of Śnieżka Karpacz under the leadership of the famous jumper and coach Ryszard Witke trained there.
