History:

In 1957 a ski jumping hill was opened at Kawaleryjska Street in Białystok. It had a sizeable metal inrun tower, however, it allowed only quite short, maximum 20 meters jumps. The landing zone was in a deep hole excavated in the ground, a remnant of an old brick factory. In the 60's the ski jumping was stopped in Białystok, and at the beginning of the 70's the inrun was removed (the tower was left alone), the hole was covered and the ground leveled. Now the old tower is surrounded by a bazaar.
