History:

Storelvbakken in the municipality of Sørreisa was a popular ski jumping hill for children and young people, which was used for training and competitions with many spectators. It was built in 1937 under the direction of Arnold Winther Johansen. In the 1950s, Ivar Storelvmo took care of the maintenance of the ski jump. In the mid-1950s, the larger ski jump was equipped with a wooden inrun tower, from which one could also enjoy a wonderful view.
