History:

The first competitions on Langegga Hoppbakke took place in the 1930's. It used to be a very popular hill, especially in the 1950's but also beyond. The landing slope was completely natural, while the inrun tower had a 90-degree-turn at the top for jumpers who wanted or required more inrun speed. Nowadays, the former outrun is crossed by a cross-country track, which even has floodlight.
