History:

With the construction of Grindakollen, which was completed by the winter 1968, ski jumping in Gaupne experienced a serious boost. Unfortunately, this did not take too long - also due to some snow-poor winters. Anyway, a renovation of the hill took place in 1986, in which the inrun was lifted up towards the stone walls, which enabled longer distances. One of those who benefited from that was Jarle Mollard, who achieved a 4th place on the normal hill at the Norwegian Championships in 1996. Nowadays, only a few remnants of the hill are left.
