History:

The first Vastølbakken ski jump at Sannidal was inaugurated in 1916. After World War II the ski jumping hill was reconstructed in 1947 and two junior jumping hills were added. The last conversion of the jumping facility was done in 1980, when another small K6 hill was constructed, too. The hill record of 63 meters on K55 dates back from the last competition on the large jump in 1996. Since then only the smaller jumps have been used by Sannidal IL for ski jump practising.
Further ski jumps at Sannidal were Oksebåsbakken, Rindekollen and Farsjøbakken.
