History:
In fall 2012 Sandar IL set up a small children's jumping facility at the sports center "Vesterøya Idrettspark" in order th revive ski jumping in the town.
The former ski jumps at Sandefjord, the 1950 built and 1972 modernized Hjertås Hoppbakke, Breidablikk hoppbakke (1965) and Gokstad Skole Hoppbakke (K12, 1965) were all given up already years ago.
