History:

Bjørnlibakken was most likely built before World War II and used until the end of the 1950's. Officially, it was only closed in 1978. The landowner bought the area back from the club Kragerø IF for 40,000 Norwegian Crowns (around 3775 Euros). The club reinvested this money into its facility in Studsdalen.
According to stories of contemporary witnesses, the upper part of the demolished inrun was very steep, while the transition to the take-off was rather long and gentle. The landing slope can only be recognized in the winter, while the former outrun nowadays is a parking lot of a supermarket.
