The K63 at Nonsåsen in Os i Østerdalen was already constructed in 1928 and has never been converted since. With its 4 meter high take-off and up to 300 m long inrun, in which the jumpers gather speed for around 11 seconds, it is one of the most extraordinary ski jumps worldwide. Bjørn Wirkola jumped there a last hill record of 63.5 m in 1971, before the jump was given up with the construction of Åsenkollen in 1980. For the 100th ski club anniversary of Nansen IL in 1998 ski jumping activities have been recovered. In 2004 Marius Småriset and Knut Sørlien managed for the first time to beat up Wirkola’s hill record with 65.5 m. Still today there are regular ski jumping activities on the jump.
