Bjønnalibakken in Lom municipality near Bøverdalen was built in 1937. The opening jump the year after was performed by Åmund Elveseter. After World War II, it was prepared again for jumping, before the landing slope was adapted in the early 1960's. At the same time, there were even plans for a 70-meter-hill, which never were realized.
In 2009, the forest aisle was cleared from bushes, after a few adventurers jumped it in the 1990's despite the bad state of it.
